Have voted for my favourite goal from that selection, but, for me, Matt Lench's goal against Dulwich at home is our GOTS, so far.

I found it really difficult but I've voted for Toggs goal purely because of the technique required to hit it on the volley.

As you say looking back at the Matt Lench goal against Dulwich I'd say it certainly should have been in contention for GOTS.

I chose Francis Amartey's first goal in the selection but had it been top 3 I would have had Lee Togs second and Matt Lench's goal against Dulwich third.

Well done to whoever put that video/voting together, great selection and good fun voting.

Whilst I enjoy a long shot as much as the next supporter the goals that live in the memory for me are ones with good passing and build up and the interplay on the edge of the box made that one my GOTS. I still remember the trophy game at home against Morecambe when passing from a corner between Paul Lee & Terry Reardon exploited their offside trap and left Dave Russell on his own in the middle but behind Lee as the crosser making his header relatively easy. Not spectacular but so well worked.

Funny how different people can have so differing views on something such as "Goal of the Season".

For me my best goal is one that hasn't been mentioned by anyone yet.

My top two came in the same game.

In second place I'd put Francis Amartey's goal v Tonbridge.

The pace and power for that goal ( and what a fantastic turn) show Francis at his best, and in the grand scheme of things it brought us level at 3-3 having been 3-0 down at half-time.

Even better than that I thought was Lenchy's thunderbolt earlier on.

An unstoppable shot that started our comeback in that match.

That's the voting of the Holyport jury for what it's worth ! 😄
