A good result that could have been an absolute goal fest but still felt nervy at times.

Two good things though:- 1) Bowers are relegated which is personally pleasing as I just don't like the ground or team. 2) Secures a minimum 3rd place so a home game for playoff semi-final.

Comfortable win against a poor side. Home tie for the playoff semi is a good thing. Great to see Lewwis get some playing time in. One game to go against a Kingstonian side who secured their position in the league today. COYU

I predicted a goal fest, and after the first 60 seconds I thought my prediction was sound. I felt we never really got going, B&P were trying their best, but did not really cause us many problems. Great to see Jamie Mascoll given a chance, i though he played very well and has an excellent left foot. Liam was unlucky not to get a third. A good three points.

Not a vintage performance but obviously pleased for a clean sheet and the 3 points. Was a refreshing change to see a tweaked starting XI, Mascoll on the left made a decent contribution showing his vision/passing range throughout and seeing Spence back gave the midfield assurance that's been missing of late. Well played 👏

I think Canvey will now pip us to 2nd spot but Canvey have Lewes last game of the season and I have an inkling they may well nab the final spot themselves under the noses of Cray and play Canvey again the following week

Canvey still have a mathematical chance of winning the league although it would need Herne Bay to beat Bishops Stortford.

Can anyone explain the play offs please. I googled and it sounds as though there are two playoffs and the two winners go up. So no final. Also how do they decide who plays each other? Thanks

2nd plays 5th and 3rd plays 4th. The winner of each game then play each other in the playoff final. The winner of the final gets promoted along with the league winner. Highest placed team is at home for the playoff games.

3rd plays 4th at home 

The winners play each other in the final, with the team that finished higher in the league at home. They are then promoted. 

 The semis are the Wednesday after the league finishes and the final on the Bank Holiday Monday.
