Easter Weekend

Well, back home at last. Todays home game was a welcome return and hopefully the start of a great weekend. A great crowd, played on a beautiful pitch in sunny Hornchurch. First half was a pleasure to watch, lots of opportunities and a sublime performance from Liam Nash, who was kicked all over the park in the first half. Sam Higgins and Ade had chances which on another day would be wonder goals. I was surprised Billericay still had 11 on the pitch TBH. Second half, we ground it out, which was great to see. Unlucky for Ola who came on for the last 5 mins and was unlucky to hit the post with his rocket.

Aveley .......where were you? we needed you to score!

3 points , scoreline is a bit flattering for Billericay tbh , shame that Aveley couldn’t get an equaliser but we go again on Monday. Well done to Hornchurch coyu

The players were fantastic today from 1st whistle to the last after last weeks controversy they put in a real good performance and got the win they deserved for their hard work.

Deserved to have a few more goals but the Ricky keeper made some fantastic saves to keep.them.in the match.

All the lads can do is focus on winning the next 3 matches and will see where we are once they are played.

I thought Nashie was absolutely superb. His commitment and never say die attitude extended through the side. Agree that the Billericay keeper made at least 2 unbelievable saves that kept us biting or nails. Aveley couldn’t do us a favour but Stortford may experience a wobble against Herne Bay I feel.
