A feisty, fiercely contested derby with no quarter asked or given. It had the lot with full blooded challenges, two red cards for home players, although one was issued to a player that had already been substituted as a second yellow for comments made to the referee from the bench.
The official had his work cut out controlling the game at times but probably should have stamped his authority on the match much earlier.
Having said that there was some decent football on show particularly from the visitors who would have taken the points but for some wayward finishing and some excellent saves from the Biggleswade keeper. The home side did create chances as well but will probably be the happier with the point.
