v Chippenham

It wasn't so long ago Chippenham were struggling towards the bottom end of the table.

They are now 15 games unbeaten and one of the form teams going into this game.

Big ask but no reason why we can't put an end to their run.

Didn’t realise they were on such a great run, so to win is a big ask but with just 5 games left I think we need to win 3 to give ourselves the best chance of staying up. Obviously other results make a big difference but we certainly don’t want to start relying on others. We need to be looking at 4 points from these next 2 as a minimum, anything less and it could be change my pants time…

Best chance yes but in reality with quite a few games where teams at the bottom are playing each other I reckon two wins or six points will do.

The likelihood is that we will draw 4 & lose 1 of our last five, that will give us 48 points & in my opinion enough points to stay out of the relegation zone.

If Scott doesn’t think that will be enough points he may have to be a lot more attacking in the last 20 minutes & try to change those 4 draws into possibly 2 wins & 2 draws.

I really hope you’re right but I’m not confident 4 points is enough, I’d say 6-7 points. Let’s do the hard work and get the 2 wins this weekend as nome of us want to go into that last game v Braintree needing a win to stay up…

Great to see both Francis & Temi in the squad today.

Scott has been cautious about Francis’ return, so seeing him in the squad would imply to me he will likely start.

And Temi’s ban presumably doesn’t start until a week after the red card?

Francis may be a sub today, given his past injury.

Great to see Temi is in though, with the importance of this match. I'm expecting this game to be a right ding dong of a battle for the 3 points.Just hope come the final whistle Slough have come out on top.

Temi has only two games left to play for us, today and home to Farnborough before he goes back to Maidenhead.

Lets hope the Weymouth away game and our final game at home to Braintree are not crucial.

Unless 28 days was the max seems odd we couldn’t keep Temi until the end of the season.

Maidenhead want him back for their last two games of the season.

Possibly to play him to see if they want to retain him for next season.

Not sure that’s the reason! Hardly fair on Temi to try and prove to them in just 2 games especially from the subs bench!!! Hopefully the club can work out a deal with Maidenhead as it’ll work out best for all parties if he signs for us permanently in the summer. We need players of his calibre (and higher) if we’re to avoid a repeat of this season.

Just wow! No one saw this score coming! Could have reached double figures if it wasn’t for their keeper. Tremendous team performance but special mention to Alexander who was clinical and deserved this after making such a positive start since signing. Great to see Amartey make an appearance and nearly grabbing a goal. Confidence should be sky high and if we can get a win at Taunton I think we’ll be nearly there. Great crowd too.

Due to my current address in rural Somerset Ive only seen 8 games this season usually when Im visiting friends relatives in Slough however I live in a TA postcode and can be in Tauntons ground in 15 mins in good traffic so Im really looking forward to this one  If we win that'll  be 50 points and our status confirmed.

I’m thinking of getting the train down, is it a walkable distance or is there a direct bus near the ground?

Decent crowd and more than I estimated. Hopefully they’ll be back for more on Saturday v Farnborough.
