Reckon we'll all be rooting for Aveley on Saturday

We will need Aveley to do something against Bishops Stortford otherwise it’s probably title done with the games Stortford have left but it’s irrelevant anyway if we don’t do our own job. We will probably have to win all 4 games now to have any chance of winning it. Tough ask but it can be done. Just need to get back to winning ways first

Aveley have the Velocity Trophy Final on Wednesday against Potters Bar so they'll have fewer rest days than Stortford who have a full week to prepare which is a shame.  Also, we could do with either Cray, Lewes or Horsham to close in on Enfield so Enfield will have to get something from their game at Stortford on the penultimate Saturday to stay in the play-off mix.

Then there's Canvey vs Aveley on Easter Monday and Aveley vs Enfield on the last day.

Having said all that, we just have to focus on ourselves, get the 4 wins we deserve and then see where we end up.

Totally agree we need to win last 4 games so if we are to be in the playoffs we are at least in form and hopefully confident.

Especially as if BS do go up then we will have to come up against either Aveley or Canvey, who are the 2 in form teams and who have to beaten us home and away already this season.

Let's just hope that having the pressure of being top off taken us now has a positive impact, it clearly affected us and it previously affected Stortford. Really need home ties for the playoffs if that's where we end up - I don't fancy Aveley or Canvey away atm

If we do end up in the play offs I’d rather avoid Aveley and Canvey altogether until the final, they seem to have our number, similar to Cheshunt in the final last year, they have big tall midfielders and CBS, something we struggle against. So it’s important we finish at least 2nd.

Hastings host Horsham in the Sussex County Cup QF tonight also
