The one silver lining from “Horshamgate” is that it turns out it IS possible to be more incompetent than the “running” of the Prediction League.  Beyond that it is probably best to keep my own counsel.

So, on the doubtful assumption that you have moved on from Saturday’s fiasco, I am pleased to announce that Ozz has won the league with 2 weeks to go, and his country bumpkin buddy Lord Upminster has also won Div 2, despite a surprise defeat to Fat Tom.  Yes, Fat Tom!  Many congratulations to you both and the trophies are being engraved by top craftsmen as I type (even if the Div 2 trophy is rather virtual in form).

At the bottom, things are looking rather ticklish for me and UrchinYid.  There’s hope for us both, but hope is a cruel master.  UrchinYid will of course know more about this than me given his second team have crushed more hopes over the years than Vinny Jones has crushed nuts. 

I’m sure there’s something else noteworthy to say, but data analysis is not my top priority at the mo, so you’ll have to spot it yourselves.
