With the help of Ian, I will be putting some info up on the site on Wednesday evening which will include a guest list of attendee's, the presentation (Powerpoint) which was used and also some notes from Ian and perhaps Chris on their views of the evening.

Gary

I skimmed through a copy of the Supporters Direct magazine on Friday and noted a list of the member clubs on the inside front cover.

Slough Town was listed among them, but showed no website details.

No doubt you will correct this absence in due course...

But which URL will you use? STST is legally independent of STFC, so it does not seem right for them to share the same 'Official' website.

Is the Trust to have its own website now, as a separate entity from Slough Town Football Club, or will it remain a part of the Official STFC site?

Alternatively, will the Official STFC site become the Trust's website?

"For those of us that were not able to be at the launch, will there be a report of what happened, who said what and what the next actions are to be? Will it be on the official website Trust section?"

To answer the above question (copied from another thread) of whether details of the Trust Launch will be communicated I can confirm that there will be a summary of the evening in Saturday's programme against Horsham. This, along with a copy of the presentation from the evening, will be available on the Trust web site (thanks to Gary) but not until after Saturday as we don't want to stop you buying a programe!

There's also an article being written for the Non League Paper which should feature in Friday's edition (they prefer to publish non matchday related articles on Friday's rather than Sunday's).

Furthermore, we have been asked to contribute something to the Supporters Direct Newsletter regarding the evening which everyone I've spoken to has said was well received.

One of the things I'm particularly keen to ensure the Trust does well is communicate as widely and as often as possible. So, if there are other mediums that we could be using to ensure it reaches as many fans as possible, please let us know.

Ian

Does the trust have a friendly contact within Star FM (106.6)?

I am just about out of their reception range so I don't know what sort of coverage they give to the team, but local radio support ought to reach our target audience.

And for Gary...

Your occupation is listed as 'Communications Engineer'.

I write software for mobile phones.

I don't think it is that surprising we think along the same lines <img src="/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" />

I'll reserve judgement until I've been in touch with them (I've taken an action to try and make contact with Star) but it seems they are totally disinterested with STFC from what others say.

However, I will be making contact soon so hope to have some good news on that front.
