Deadline Day Signings

Recommended Posts

Yes 2 solid signings, one we know and who performed well and the other glad he’s on our side this time! Now everyone is available with these 2 it gives us a strong squad which we hope should be more than capable of gaining enough points to stay up. I think it’s unlikely we’ll see Amartey until possibly the last few games which is a massive loss and I just hope we can manage to sign him permanently in the summer as I think with the right service he could score 20+ for us.

Guest Wycombe Rebel

I think I’d go 5-3-2 on Saturday:

Dennis; Jackman Dandy Eweka Woodhouse George; Davies Lench Togwell; Obi Alexander

Subs: Bush, Goddard, Walsh, Owen, Benyon

Not in squad: Hall, Burgess, Kayani

I agree on the starting 11 but would leave out Benyon and replace with Burgess.

Francis isn’t a million miles off but hasn’t been able to sprint as of yet. His game is all about being explosive so want to make sure that he’s ready to go when 100% fit. If we have to wait another week or two then so be it. To have him for 5 games is better than coming back too soon and having him for an hour!

Whilst we've brought two players in it seems that two players have gone the other way.

Louis Walsh has joined Thame United and Moe Shubbar had his contract at Crawley terminated by mutual consent in time for him to join another club before the transfer deadline.

Delighted to have walked into Arbour Park last night and seen the two lads there, both quality and will have a good impact on the run in hopefully.

Also wanted to say well done Scotty, the hard work you and the team have been doing isn't going unnoticed.

Great to see the ground looking a bit tidier as well, the new shop looks great and the pitch is being done today I believe as well, all positives imo.

Not re-laid mate but the annual decompaction and deep clean I believe which costs a few quid, I look after a FIFA Pro pitch at work so good to see it being looked after properly.

3-5-2

Do we go for it or try to contain them and sneak a win or draw?

RR, in your 3-5-2 who are you playing as left wing back?
