Massive week topped off with a great 3 points and whilst probably not the home performance of the season (would have to go a long way to beat Worthing last week), 3pts and a clean sheet against a team below us is a good as it gets IMO.

I thought the entire team that started were excellent (bar 1) and the forced errors for the 2 OG's came from great play (1st from Lench and 2nd from Ogo). I actually said before the play that resulted in Bush's goal I fanced him to get 1, wasn't expecting it to be 2 inches off the ground, but they all count.

I thought Hungerford in general looked very poor and we handled them pretty easily most of the time (only real big save from Will Dennis came from a certain central defender trying to lob him with a chest back😅). Not I would ever wish to tell our manager and player of his experience how to play, however, may I say that the chest back to the keeper perhaps isn't the way to go given Welling and Hungerfords plays😂.

Coming into the last 2 games it was vital to get 6pts and we did exactly that with bells on. The next 3 are going to be very, very tough IMO. Hopefully the confidence we have as a squad now after this week, will stand us in good stead moving into a difficult period.

If I head it out for a corner then they could have scored from it.. wouldn’t want to risk that! 😅

I’ve watched it back since, I think the ‘oooooh’s’ make it seem risky, it wasn’t! (On this occasion)

Thanks for all of your support as always everybody. Nothing to fear going into the next run of games. We knew we faced a tough task but we believe we can compete with the teams we have ahead. Not saying we will win those games or it’s going to be easy but we’re certainly in a good place going into them. 👍🏼
