Yes ‘m aware… they recallled him because they had 3 defenders out so the presumption was he was needed to start for a period of time, well it appears that’s 1 game! He’s obviously not so desperately required as i thought. Just very frustrating when he could be helping us instead of sitting on the bench which he may well be for the remainder of the season. Just hope it doesn’t cost us and then we can sign him permanently in the summer (along with Francis). Be great also to get Will on a season long loan!

I just hope the bournemouth keeper doesn’t get injured because we will lose Will

There would be no point in recalling him for just 1 game.

Temi is now part of the Maidenhead squad and I'm sure he will get plenty of game time in their remaining games.

To be fair if we had a centre back out on loan we would have recalled them with Joe out and Temi recalled, even for 1 game so Maidenhead are within their rights. I sort of hope he doesn't get much game time so we can approach him in the summer.

I'd like him to succeed for his own benefit and football career but if he gets fed up of being on the bench and just wants to play football then he's welcome to pop down the road where he'll be appreciated and get plenty of game time.

Pretty sure he’s only signed a 1 year contract with Maidenhead so unless they offer him a new one (and he may not even want to stay) I would hope we’d be at the front of the queue to sign him in the summer.

I know and I made a comment on Twitter! Very frustrating he’s sun after just 1 start where they desperately needed him back…. bollox! So who’s the defender who took his place last night? Scott get him back!

De Havilland, back from injury, and played the whole game! Solid and experienced and also bigger & (probably) taller than Temi (who I was hoping to see play to see how he shaped up, but disappointed).

Maybe they thought De Havilland was better in the air.

A straight choice between a good, solid experienced player in De Havilland or Temi who is still learning to play at NL level of football.

I would imagine it's a difficult choice for Temi because he obviously wants to progress his career but at the same time he will want to play football and not be a bench warmer.

I was hoping this could happen and very happy it’s now confirmed. Temi will definitely tighten up our defence and I liked all the passion and organisation he showed v Worthing, more of that please! I guess there’s a reason why it’s only a 28 day loan and not until the end of the season? Just means he’ll miss the last 2 games which could be (but I really hope not) vital.

Maidenhead want him back for the last couple of games of the season. Having him for 6 games is better than none so I won’t be moaning. I knew at the time that there was a possibility that he could come back to us, hence why I’ve delayed bringing anyone else in! Thankfully it’s paid off.

Temi Eweka was again an unused sub in Maidenheads draw with Barnet today.

Wouldn't it be great if Slough signed him for next season ! It would certainly reassure fans that our new owners are prepared to do what it takes to get Slough moving upwards in our division.

He won't be easy to get I don't suppose but sure would be a fantastic signing, and would be a real boost for our chances in the NLS next time around.

It would certainly be a great start to our player recruitment for next season.

I think I heard a rumour that Maidenhead had taken the option of a one year contract extension on him.

If so, they would presumably want a transfer fee if he left.

If Maidenhead have taken the one year contract extension option surely it was down to Temi if he wanted to sign the extension?

If so then he obviously has no thoughts of signing for us which is a shame.
