You surely don’t think it’ll be a 3,000 sell out? I’d be very happy with 1,500!

No not at all but you never know… All sorts will come out of the wood work!!

1500 means you will see eff all unless you are seated or are on the terracing behind the goal.

I remember Rochdale and when you are on the tarmac you could not see anything apart from heads moving from side to side unless you were slammed against the fencing!

I hate Arbour Park!!

There’s plenty of ways around this… Either wear stilts, bring a box or discreetly wear high heels…

I’ll probably be completely wrong, but if anything I’m expecting a lower crowd than we would normally expect against Ebbsfleet, not a bigger crowd.

I thought that was why BT Sport actually paid the home team more than the away team in league matches, to compensate for loss of revenue because there’s a likelihood that people will sit indoors & watch the match rather travel to the match.

FA cup matches & the attraction of a giant killing against a team two or three divisions higher is what attracts the big crowds we saw against Rochdale & Gillingham.

If both teams were in the same league position and playing this Saturday then I’d expect the crowd to be around 800. But for a club like Slough it’s a rarity to be live on tv. So just like a cup game you will get alot more of the casual fan attending. Plus the club will be soon announcing some big incentives for this match which will boost the crowd plus don’t forget it’s non league day with no Premier League games so again I’d expect a big boost from fans of those clubs wanting to attend especially if pricing is attractive and there are some decent drink and food stalls.

I think Glens right.

If the club get the marketing of the game right I'd be disappointed and frankly shocked if it's less that a 1,000+  on the day.

I think Ebbsfleet could bring 500-750 themselves for this one, so I agree RR, 1000+ is a minimum for me.

Whilst I appreciate that getting good crowds at Arbour Park has (to me) proved surprisingly difficult, on 25th March Maidenhead United are away to Dorking Wanderers, Beaconsfield Town away to Winchester City and Hayes & Yeading United away to Poole Town. There is absolutely no competition from other football matches from Step 3 and upwards, no rugby union internationals and no train strikes on 25th March.

I believe there are still some who look around for their Saturday afternoon football fix when their favourite club has not got a game.

Currently, we just don't know what the weather forecast will be!

I think this may be optimistic. Ebbsfleet do not normally have a large travelling fan base when looking at the attendances at grounds that Ebbsfleet have already visited this season.

Having it on TV could also be an incentive for them not travelling.

We need to get our own armchair supporters out and all the ST holders from the Premier and EFL clubs.

Agree, an incentive for supporters of all London and neighbouring clubs and local people within travelling distance will go a long way to boosting the attendance.

As for Ebbsfleet really not sure how many they will bring.

Depending on how results go in the next two weeks the game against us could be a title clincher for them.

With the massive points gap Ebbsfleet currently have, they’d have to have an absolute disaster not to win the league! It’s there’s and no surprise really with the extortionate budget they have.

I was thinking more of winning the title at our place if results go their way.

It's a bit of a long shot for Dartford and Havant to both lose their next couple of games and Ebbsfleet to win theirs but if so could boost our gate to some degree.

I'm assuming the club are about to announce the ticketing details/offers etc. as the ticket link has disappeared from the website.

I know a dozen people who have said they'll come down due to the TV and a lack of football elsewhere and I've not even really asked, hopefully hundreds of others will do the same and we can get a great crowd in.

Isn't it funny what football fans like. I'm more interested in watching Slough v Hungerford than Slough v Ebbsfleet. I must be showing my age ! 🙃

If you had been born in Rochester like myself 3spirit, and spent your schooldays reading about Gravesend & Northfleet in the Kent Messenger, you would be looking forward to watching Slough Town v Ebbsfleet United.

Take it from me 3spirit, it's recommended viewing whether you choose to be at Arbour Park or in front of a box with BT Sport on it.
