Fantastic news and great tv coverage for the club.

With all the media coverage ahead of the game hopefully we can get a big crowd to go with the occasion.

I suppose the obvious question is how much money will the club get from BT for having the game televised?

A pittance (few thousand) but it’s not really about that. If the club gets it right on and off the field the exposure this gives could be massive for the club and the sort of rare opportunity (similar to a home FA Cup game against league opponents) to attract new fans.

Not sure how we came to be chosen but am I right in saying our game against Ebbsfleet is the only one from the NLS being shown live on BT for this season.

Let’s be realistic, we’ve mainly been chosen due to our opponents and it’s near the end of the season. Hopefully they’ll be some very attractive ticket pricing (with an eye on next season, maybe offer a return voucher?), let kids in free or anything that will attract 1,500+.

Just read an article written in 2019 that says the home team gets £6,000 and away teams gets £2,000.

Not to be sneezed at but hopefully more will come from the gate money, food, drinks etc. plus a spin off from increased attendances at future games.

Could also be that they liked the set up when they screened the Rochdale game.

Good point bluerebel.

Probably a few factors played a part, Ebbsfleet being top without doubt was a major factor.

Non league day, the fact it's around the corner from the other BT game at Wealdstone and as you say a nice set up for televising a game.

Not sure BT can pack up all their equipment at ours then 30 minutes later rush over to set up at Wealdstone!!!!

I take it as a season ticket holder there is no extra cost to see the game.
