After the Prediction League goalfest of week 7, it was back to Earth with a bump for gameweek 8. 

Some pretty low scores all round, but well done to Golden Booter Diamond Geezer who at least showed a modicum of competence.  Meanwhile Blackballed and MikeMike only just escaped the dreaded “zero” when AC Milan fluked a goal in added time, late on Saturday night.   How annoying 😄

Ozz gets the re-invigorated Lucky Bast@rd award – clearly mistyping his intented 0-2 prediction for Blackburn v Sheff Utd as “9-2”, thereby grabbing a most undeserved point in a 4-4 draw with Paul C.    Shows the old adage is as true as ever – those at the top get all the luck.   And that is why I am still bottom (just in case I haven’t mentioned it before).

MickTheBat did nothing of note (again) but did ask me why he hadn’t had a mention for a bit.  Well there’s the reason right there Michael. 

Onwards to week 9.   8 down, 6 to go.  Or as many as I need to get to 8th.
