Full credit to Scotty and the team for a fantastic backs to the wall performance.

To get a point from the game after going down to 9 men on 38 minutes was some achievement.

Too far away to see whether the challenge was a sending off or not so have to wait for the highlights to make any sort of judgement.

As for the Elliott Benyon sending off again I didn't see the incident so I'll have to reserve judgement on whether it was stupid from Elliott or not.

Every player can be proud of their own personal performances today and hopefully are now ready for the challenge we face in our next two games the results of which could go some way to deciding our future in the NLS.

Maybe I’m biased but I’ve sent it to a large number of people in and out of football, and the first thing they’ve said is ‘that’s an absolute joke’. I thought Joe’s was gonna look worse but it wasn’t that bad. Probably won’t get rescinded but Elliot has pushed a bloke who is 5 ft 7 in the upper chest. If that’s a red card then you’d get sending offs every week. The fact their member of staff entered the pitch towards elliot also works in our favour. He shouldn’t be on there in the first place!

Anyway.. a point gained in difficult circumstances is what id like to focus on, rather than talk about the referee and his mates.

I was sitting at the back of the main stand & thought it was ridiculous Benyon had been sent off for what looked like standing between their coaches & players that had come of their bench & Dandy, and pushing one of them in the chest a few times.

The opinion of our fans the row in front of me was that the red was for something Benyon had said to the referees assistant after he had advised the ref to red card Dandy.

Was the ref specific about the reason for Benyon’s red?

Can anyone say what the gate was today? Don't  see it in the usual places  Thanks

The only thing I saw Elliott Benyon do was push their little weasel coach who went nose to nose with him after leaping  off the bench and abusing Joe. Elliott ran over to support his team mate who was surrounded by their players and staff. I was in the fourth row and he did nothing wrong, but seemingly he’s an easy target currently on here to point a finger at.

I thought Ogo was brilliant second half, Gabe did really well and gives us great balance on the left, Lenchy was immense again and Will Dennis looked a proper keeper. Teams that get a point from 1 down with 9 men do not get relegated and I wouldn’t want anyone else managing this team - every player is giving everything for Scott.

Anyone know what was going on with our goalie and their fans behind the goal after the final whistle?

633 but there was at least 70 Worthing behind the goal so less than 550 home fans which isn’t great but I guess it reflects our league position and recent form.

Of course we'd all like gates to be in the 800+ but considering what was going on at other places around the area and the weather not being balmy I think that's not a shabby attendance.

I think some of the Worthing undesirables were upset with Will Dennis doing a bit of time wasting which of course their keeper wouldn't have done in the same circumstances.

Having looked at the Joe Dandy red card incident several times it looks like a 50/50 challenge but certainly not clear cut so the chances of getting that card rescinded if we were to appeal is imo pretty much nil.

On Elliott Benyon if the red card was for the shove to try and stop the Worthing official, who had stepped onto the pitch to try and confront Joe Dandy, then I reckon it's nailed on to be rescinded.

Do we know what Elliott was sent off for because he does have words with the Lino and the red card could possibly be for the choice of words used.

Dandy shouldn’t even get a yellow for the challenge, 50/50 ball and just a collision.

If Benyon has been sent off for something he’s said then fair enough BUT in that case officials can’t pick and choose when to punish foul language like that, it happens all game, some officials laugh it off, some take it to heart, should be one rule for all, swear at an official and you are gone!
