Hampshire Cup

My friend and yours, good old Spencer has put a YT view out (14 minutes) about how Farnborough have been kicked out of the Hampshire Cup and they only found out about it when Basingstoke and Porcester announced their game on social media.

Its a classic bit of Spencer ranting and is well worth 15 minutes of time to watch. Lots of shade thrown by him toward clubs and the Hampshire FA.

In fairness, these county cups are tinpot, haven't been to one since our nonsense v Marlow and I don't necessarily blame Spencer for his reaction and comments.

Lots of mitigating circumstances from Spencer Day but the bottom line is they played an ineligible player when they beat Porchester 8-0.

Grey area or not his admin team should have known about the rules around player eligibility when a game is postponed.
