Has Lewis Pegg improved that much since last season?

He was a young player that had a lot to learn and not deemed good enough to command a place in our 1st team.

Also if he has improved that much why Binfield, Met Police and now Beaconsfield?

I think step 3 is about right for him as a young centreback. Very "modern" centreback, good on the ball, not afraid to step into the play with the ball, good in the air and fairly quick and strong for his age and build. Although I think his best asset is his ability to communicate and not be afraid to shout/talk to older more experienced players when they aren't doing things correctly.

I'm sure Neil and Jon will get the best out of him as 2 ex-centrebacks and I wouldn't be surprised at all to see him step on and up again in the coming years.

Nathan's brother Aaron (who started Neil and Jon's first game at Tiverton) played for Uxbridge last night in their 6-1 hammering of Ashford Town (Midlx). Seemed very strange for him to play in that game and will be interested to see if thats a perminant move, or just a situational one.

Hi all, hope everyone is well! Still keep an eye on the forum, very much a fan of the club now, and as Bakes said recently very much hoping that Scott gets the success he deserves

Has been great to get back in the dugout this week and as a couple of questions have been asked about Beaconsfield I thought I’d quickly answer them.

Peggy has had two very good seasons at step 4. He got the chance to test himself st Met but as he joined them their two centre backs (and the team) started doing very well and he never got a chance there. He made his debut on Tuesday for us against the best team in the league and was outstanding, a really positive start for him at step 3.

We had a 7 day approach from Uxbridge for Aaron Minhas which expired on Sunday and he made the decision to join them so that’s what happened there.
