As I said earlier in the week, “OFI Crete v Aris Salonika  (well why not?)”.  Well, let me tell you “why not”; it’s been delayed two bloomin' days and is now being played tomorrow afternoon.

So you’ll all just have to wait.  Clearly all the fault of some idiot at the BBC - no wonder there is robust debate ongoing over the future of BBC funding.

In the meantime, here’s how you are doing with one game to play.  Remember - 4 goals still to be had.  Never will there have been so much interest in a mid-table mid-week Greek Superleague game.   Especially from Luke who is on for a record score (equal).

Oh, and to avoid any future fiascos (fiasci?) we will adopt the rule* that if a game is delayed more than a calendar day the Contingency Game comes into play.
The Prediction League – ALWAYS ADAPTING - ALWAYS IMPROVING.    (Yes, we use the same PR company as an OFSTED-failing primary school).

* rule adoption subject to agreement by Management Committee Rules sub-group, obvs.

Yes I know it’s the middle of the night but I’m on a post-Bognor high. Not often you hear those words.  And I’ve got a lie-in tomorrow (equally rare words).

So the question on all your lips… did Luke equal the record score?   Answer – No.  But only 3 better scores in history, so very well done sir. Plus he went top, though no doubt he will let you know about that himself.

In other news, I met the real D.Geezer and Mojo this evening which was lovely.   They both seem far too normal to be in this fiasco of a competition.  And they also handed over loadsamoney, including Adrian’s, so I’m off on a Baltic cruise with Lady Jago in the morning.   (After my lie in, obviously).  Unfortunately the club shop was out of alarm clocks so I couldn't give Mojo the latest one for his growing collection.

What else happened in ye olde prediction league?  Well I’m still bottom, so who cares?   But someone find Colin a defence – he’s busy replicating the apology of a back four at Purfleet, of which he may well have been a part.
