How do we see this affair going, incidentally what has happened to 'you know who' aka Loudmouth BFC, who has not been spotted since attending the Letchworth Garden City Eagles v London Tigers fixture on Saturday 19 November, my guess is that he has ruffled feathers with the hierarchy at the Pixmore Playing Fields, similar to Always Leighton at Leighton Town, and has walked away from the Club which is a shame:

Karen - Why did it not say 'abandoned' then against those games on Full Time. I assume Luton Town will be awarded the tie as they were 4-1 ahead at the time of the curtailment at Second Meadow,

A good result for Eaton Socon last night in the Hinchingbrooke Cup however a disappointing late postponement for Lutterworth Athletic in the Leicestershire & Rutland FA Senior Cup due to a pernickety pitch inspecting Referee:

Two groundhoppers from another Forum were present:

Moulton 0 - 2 Ampthill
Competitive first half if lacking goalmouth action and no goals at half time. Moulton made a number of substitutions in the second half which didn't seem to achieve much and it became a pretty routine win for Ampthill. Goals from the 11 and an own goal.
Living near Northampton, I visited the Moulton ground when it was grass a number of times for various sons youth games. That was 5 to 8 years ago. Not a great fan of 3g but here is an example of how the development of such a facility allows a Community Club to grow and move up the pyramid. It is a tidy if unremarkable all weather stadium.

Also here with Henfield Bee, though at around 6pm we were considering looking for somewhere else to go with the traffic stationary between Junctions 8 and 9 on the M1 due to multiple breakdowns however we got going and arrived with half an hour to spare. Admission was £5 plus £2 for a decent programme, nice clubhouse where were got hot drinks for £1.20. Journey home was delayed as we could not get on the M1 at Junction 15 and the M25 was closed between Junction 16 and 15, though the diversionary routes were not busy, home was reached shortly before 00.30.
