A real 6 pointer  both teams are recovering from poor starts  Cheshunt have 11 points from their last 6 we have 9 points from our last 6  We won our last one Cheshunt lost theirs hopefully our confidence will be up Cheshunt havent been great at home losing 8 home games and 8 away games also I'm  sure Scott will impress how vital this game may be come seasons end.

Tickets can be bought in advance for a discount of £2 off the gate price.

Hopefully a sizable amount of Rebels will travel, there's 200+ parking spaces at the ground.

If we did get 150 then based on their average home gate we'd  be 25% of the crowd and it would sound a lot more!!

Are you sure they average 600 which is more than us? I find that very hard to believe! We should be taking 200+ for what is a big game and certainly a must not lose one plus it’s a very easy journey (ok unless there’s an accident on the M25!).

They average according to footballwebpages around 450 higher now and then and of course a lot lower when weather and holidays are around

Yes very frustrating as we had a number of chances but a combination of blocks, too many touches or missed meant we take just 1 point when it felt like a game that was there for the taking. Fortunately none of the immediate teams below us won so we’ve not lost any ground. Francis was excellent today and he had the beating of nearly every player. We certainly need to get the ball to him and quicker, he deserved a goal today especially that mazy run where he passed 5 or 6 players. I just hope Aldershot don’t have some recall option as he’d be a massive loss if he was recalled (Scott please confirm!!!).

Glen

I think Francis is OK  Aldershot loaned him till the end of the season and after a shite run of 5 losses theyve steadied their ship with 2 draws and 2 wins from the last 4.

Can't fault the effort from the boys today, we just couldn't find that final bit of quality from a tight game that we just about edged I think. Amartey and Lench were excellent again today and I though Elliot Benyoun was really good behind the front two as he was when we won up at Oxford. I'd say we are currently a midfield ball winner short in the team with Kuhl out for the season.

Enjoyed my first visit to Cheshunt. Friendly set up, excellent bar and a loud home support. Quite enjoyed the half time music selection too.

We deserved to win the game but a combination of missed chances and some good defending from Cheshunt kept the game level.

The main thing is we didn't lose with the added bonus that Dulwich, Weymouth and Concord lost and the other sides below us drew.

Interesting to hear in the post match interview from Scott that we can expect to hear of a couple of signings next week.

Vast majority of the game we were the better team so was a shame we couldn't find the win. Saying that we seemed to run out of steam last 10 mins or so but dug in well to keep the draw which was bare minimum we deserved

Considering we went on a run of 3 points in 15 games or whatever it was it shows how much we've improved that we're disappointed to only draw a game. Having gone behind we have to be happy the way we fought back.

It's funny how each fan watches a game and see's things different to others, I wouldn't have substituted Ogo Obi,as I thought him and Francis were beginning to get a good thing going together, and as the second half wore on were causing Cheshunt problems. I understood Imran coming on to liven up our upfront options but I thought by then Elliot Benyon was beginning to be the spent force. I thought Elliot had good game yesterday and linked play well so I'm not picking him out for criticism. I just felt Ogo went off too early and when Imran did get on he ended up hugging the touch line rather than playing as another forward in a 4-3-3.

The pitch wasn't very good either so playing any good football was always going to be a big ask but Slough looked the more creative team and certainly seemed to have the edge on Cheshunt but at 1-1 any team could have nicked the winner.

Francis Amartey was my man of the match [and for most Slough fans by the sound of it]. It was unfortunate that the final ball delivered into the box when we attacked didn't seem to quite find a Slough forward to be on the end of it to put the ball into the net,and that aspect happened quite a lot in yesterday's match but our front line looks so much better and exciting than what we had been enduring in the final weeks under Bakes and Unders.

I thought Temi Eweka looked a quality addition to our backline and not much got past him. He is going to be a great asset for Slough in the coming matches. We did miss Josh Jackman in our general play/movement but a player of his stature you would expect to, and also not having Luca Woodhouse to start with disrupted our line up again, so all things considered a draw at Cheshunt isn't such a bad result, and luckily the other results went for us.

Next up Dover an important home game that on paper looks winnable.

I too thought it slightly odd to substitute Obi for Kayani. I thought Obi and Amartey especially were running Cheshunt riot and didn’t think Kayani offered much when he came on. Can only presume Obi was knackered otherwise it’s an odd move to make. Hoping the 2 or 3 new players being announced this week are better than what we have and not bench fillers.

I'm sure Scott said in his interview that it's no good bringing in bench fillers so I think some decent additions could be announced.

Must have missed that part then! Ok that’s good to hear as although we’re playing well and in good form if we can add extra quality it can only boost our survival chances. Hopefully we can extend Luca’s loan to the end of the season as I think he’s decent especially as he’s supposedly a midfielder.

I'll be honest.

At 18 Luca is a talented player who could have a bright future if he continues to improve.

Having said that I can see why his CV say's he's a midfielder because from what I've seen I don't think defending is his best attribute.
