Disappointing result at Stortford, but if you'd offered me top of the table as we entered 2023 I think I'd have said "yes please".  So well done Mark and the team, and let's seal it by the end of April.  Or - ideally - March! 
BTW – our goal and their first were both some advert for the Isthmian League – is there a video?

Anyway, enough of the real world.  This thread is about the far more important PREDICTION LEAGUE.   Where the final promotion place was sealed by Mick The Bat in a slightly fortuitous win over Lord Upminsta  in the play-off final - especially as The Lord would have comfortably won the penalty shoot-out.

The result - if you care -     
                             Salad Cream Blues (Mick The Bat)   8-7   Marshland Mardlers (Lord Upminster)

So UP go Ozz, CuppaTea, Dinamo and Mick The Bat, while DOWN go Adrian (the yoyo), COYS, The Baby and FatBoy.

The Spring season will start on 14 Jan, with fixtures out around 8th Jan or so.   If you haven’t paid and don’t know who I am, then you can hand over your contribution to Paul C  in the club shop.  Assuming his head still fits through the door after his title win! (Pay what you want, min £1. Please let him know who you are).

I don't think I personally know Paul C so hopefully he will be wearing a carnation in his lapel and carrying a copy of yesterday's Times.

You've already paid Mike - the money I extorted back in September (or whenever) lasts a whole "real" season, covering both prediction league seasons in the real season.   If you see what I mean.  

Paul C is the bloke normally in the club shop.  For the benefit of those still hoping to pay, anyone looking after the club shop will accept your cash (pls let them know who you are).  They may try and sell you some merchandise though, so be careful.
