At least I got to watch the Town ladies last week so my withdrawal symptoms are not quite so bad.Next weeks ladies game is at ipswich towns training ground where last year the pitch was like a bowling green with real grass on it.Should i try to bring some back with me to show everyone what it looks like?

Mr Chairman , Not meaning to be rude , but we did go through a period when we didn't have midweek games. Now clubs have got a backlog of fixtures and soon we will all be playing back to back fixtures. There have been a few Saturdays' this year. Can the ESL not produce a season fixture list like the higher leagues and then fill in games when clubs are knocked out of cups?

NLG - the simple answer is no the ESL can't do this!

Becasue it would take too long at the begining of the season to fit in with those clubs, like ETFC, Eton Manor, who ground share!

Personally i think it is a poor excuse; but the only one that is purported every time this is raised.

I gather that the problem is really ETFC as we share at an SSML club. The SSML only do their fixtures a month at a time, for reasons known only to them.

Eton Manor would not have been a problem this season as they share at another ESL club, but it seems they are off to Tilbury next year. London APSA are at Aveley this season I believe?

However, as the Ryman League do their fixtures for the season, I would have thought that could be overcome. So it's just us!

Makes you wonder what will happen next year then if we get promoted as I cannot see the Ryman League putting fixtures out on a monthly basis.

Easy to sort out.

Brimmo have Saturdays 1st and 3rd of each month.

ETFC have Staurdays 2nd and 4th of each month.

5th Saturday goes to Brimmo, if there is one.

Cup games - now there's another story
