Yes I know I’m posting this in the middle of the World Cup final, but it’s not all about Messi and Mbappe you know.  Far more importantly, the play off scores are as below:

So unlucky to Wivvers, but at least an improvement on last season’s wooden spoon.  And I would say unlucky to Clive, but capitulating 10-3 in the most important game of his (fairly short) existence suggests a dereliction of duty somewhat.  I am sure he will be there or thereabouts next season though.

So it’s two of our elder statesmen, Mick and Lord Upminster who will do battle in the most valuable match of the season.  The Salad Bowl will be heaving.  Assuming Mick’s Army and the Lord’s Ultras manage to get up in time for kickoff.
