Thought Rhys was brilliant yesterday, looked sharp and at it.

I think we all knew how tough it was going to be yesterday, Scott set us up to make it as hard as possible for them to penetrate and we had a game plan and for the first half it worked in as much as we went in 0-0 which we’d all take given the players and experience missing.

Second half it largely became defence v attack and almost inevitably they broke through after pushing us further and further back and from there I think the outcome was sealed.

Can’t fault the effort or commitment from Scott and all the lads, thought Rhys was excellent yesterday, on to Tuesday which is huge.

On the plus side it was nice and warm especially on that open terrace 😂❄️

I think as a team / squad in development (and given the form we have been in) a 2-0 loss is a very credible result against the obvious power team in this league.

Hopefully George and Elliot will be better for Tuesday to add some experience into the squad for a very important game.
