All Trust members from last year (ending 30th June 2022) are invited to attend.

After the formal part of the AGM has concluded- hopefully just after 20.00pm we intend to have an open forum when discussions can take place regarding the Trust and the current season.

As the trust in its current form was set up back in the early 2000's to be there if the club got in major trouble and ensure there was a way of saving the club, it is reassuring to see it stepping up to help.

The trust's rainy day fund must be very large by now, as with all the membership fees and fund raising there would be around 20 year's worth of savings in place.

Good to know the Trust is there with more than enough money to see the club comfortably through this season and forward with all the funds at its disposal.

Hope it has grown or there will not be much of a bail out.

Usual naive comment about the Trust. If you were a member you would know the Trust has donated over £64,000 to the club and £32,000 to local charities. You would also know that the main source of income is from memberships, donations, and fundraising such as Xmas raffles and Sponsored walks.

Your supposedly belief the Trust is a magic money tree is ill founded.

Suggest if you are that concerned you should join the Trust and help to contribute to the funds you think the Trust have in abundance.

Are those numbers for the last year?

With membership fees at £10 per annum, £64,000 sounds like a staggering sum to have been able to donate to the Club. If that’s correct though, well done & a big thank you to all members of the Trust.

So the trust has handed over £96,000 when everything was rosy, but now it is a rainy day when the money is really needed the pot is nearly empty.

The Trust work closely with the Club (putting community aside for this comment)  and support financially as and when, based on needs. The Trust money is raised through membership, raffle, sponsored walks and donations as someone else has mentioned. This is supported through a massive amount of volunteering.

The club are not chasing us for money all the time and more often than not we are asking the Club if they need money.  Sadly, and I wish this was different, our money is small compared to the needs of running a football club at this level. However, every little helps and we are very proud of this achievement and of the supporters who help to raise money.

Well if they were rainy days, now is a category 5 hurricane.

No one will deny there is a lot of uncertainty at this time and we need the board to find and secure a positive outcome.

Massively disappointing that Neil and Jon went and they will always be held in great esteem.

Positively, Scott is a great appointment and we are 100% behind him.

The Trust support the Club with some financial donations, volunteering and providing services to the supporters I.e the coaches. We should not be confused with clubs where you hear the club are run by a supporters trust. This is not the case.
