Good solid performance. Restricted Carshalton to a handful of chances. We were also helped by a couple of massive defensive cock-ups by the home side. Somehow I doubt that their centre back Bradley Williams will want this game on his highlight reel!

I think the best performance of the season so far. Carshalton came out for the second half and seemed to have had a rollicking in the dressing room. We conceded a goal down the right side of the pitch and I think most of us were worried how the game would now unfold. However, around 2-3 minutes later an own goal, which must go down as the best (siliest) own goal of the season, put us back with a safety cushion.

I thought that the rest of the second half we never seemed in danger and had a deserved win.  What was good to see was Della Verde getting to the bye line and working up a good relationship with Payne (?) our right back who is not afraid to come forward and looks the part.
