Am I right in thinking that our main striker on the night, Imran, didn't take a penalty in the shoot out ?

If I am correct, (and with my recent history I wouldn't be surprised to be contradicted ), I find it unusual for a forward player not to take any of eight penalties in a shoot out.

Does seem strange letting a defender/midfielder take a penalty over a striker.

Seems strange to say because it's only from 12 yards but I suppose not all strikers are good at or want to take penalties.

Has Lee Togwell ever taken a penalty before in a match? 

Also noted that if Elliot Benyon wasn't there, even though he was down as a sub, we only had two subs in total on the bench.
