SSML Premier Division Cup Quarter Final
Colney Heath 0 Potton United 3

A groundhopper from another Forum was present and mentions George Georgiou who wiII soon stop the rot at the Recreation Ground. Isn't £10 a IittIe on the pricey side for entry:

SSML - Premier Division Cup QF
Colney Heath v Potton United 0-3 (ht 0-2)
Venue: Recreation Ground (ko.1945hrs)
Entry: £10/5, free online programme
Attendance: 107 (h/c 85)
Last season, Heath started very poorly, changed their manager, but still dropped out of the Southern League with barely a whimper. This season, back in the South Midlands League, they have started just as badly with just one league win and only local rivals London Colney below them in the table. Their management team left a couple of weeks ago and new manager George Georgiou couldn't have liked what he saw tonight. A team with plenty of fringe and reserve team players stepping up looked poor against a well organised Potton side.
The visitors dominated the first half with long periods of possession as Heath sat back and let them play. Potton were leading after a mere four minutes when David Etheridge scored directly from a free-kick. Ten minutes later the lead doubled when former Heath player David Parkinson converted a penalty awarded for a push in the box.
Heath emerged after the break with renewed vigour and had a very good ten minutes in which they created more chances than in the whole of the first half. But with no reward forthcoming the momentum was lost and the game started to drift towards the inevitable conclusion. Not much more to report except Potton's third goal on 74 minutes when Daniel Baulk ran onto a through ball and hit it first time across the keeper for the only open play goal of the game.
No changes to the very basic ground and plenty of space in the car park for such crowds. The pitch played well despite the recent downpours and the fact that the under 18s play here last night. Whether the team will still be at Step 5 next season is the big question.
