To coin a phrase RR "I HOPE so".

Yes  Hemel having a mixed season so far  Started their league program with a win and a draw then 4 straight loses  Knocked out of cup last time out  Our growing momentum and home advantage should mean we will edge it imo

I see this match as being a tight call, and one that could go either way. I wouldn't be surprised with a draw.

Great performance today, really thought we deserved 3 points based on the hard work and determination of the players.

Very unlucky with Togs shot and Cowmeadow one on the bar, and the dodgy offside on Roberts he would have had a good chance to threaten the goal.

We deserve to be in the playoffs and pushing the top teams based on the efforts put in by the players.

Well, we go again next Saturday.

Disappointing result in view of recent performances  Its clear from both Neil and Jon post match comments that they reckon at least a draw would have been a fairer outcome Once again  it appears that the side that had fewer chances put them away and made off with the 3 points!

Can anyone confirm the declared attendance ? Thank You.

We played some good football in the first half without an end product to match our approach play.

The nearest we came for all our efforts was a looping header against the bar.

Hemel's goal came about when the scorer turned Joe Dandy and placed a well taken curling shot into the top corner.

After a promising first half the second half was a bit of an anti climax where we struggled to get any rhythm going and decent scoring chances were few and far between.

Hemel already had a giant up front and they proceeded to bring on an even taller player who duly scored with a free header from a cross.

Classic game of not scoring when you're on top and the opposition putting away two of the few chances that came their way.

Appalling turnout of fans from a club so near. Both Luton and Watford were away so not sure why only 25 came?!

But you’re probably only counting those behind the goal they’re attacking? It’s quite likely there was at least the same number again on the other 3 sides of the ground. We should be more concerned with the 600 odd home fans which we all know isn’t enough to sustain a top end competitive squad. The club can put on as many initiatives as possible but unfortunately we all know it’s results that pulls in the most punters.

I totally agree, Glen. I was sitting in the East Stand with a friend and added up 25 Hemel Hempstead fans on the terrace behind the goal.

3 people stood up and cheered their first goal in the East stand where I was...and they were Hemel squad members🤣
