I know it's the FA Cup and anything can happen but I can't see Hampton, Eastbourne or Taunton getting through.

Oxford have a good chance but they've got a tricky replay at Plymouth Parkway and then away at Hornchurch if they get through that game.

RR   tonight

Plymouth P   1 Oxford City  3

You were right about it being a tricky replay for Oxford, they were 1-0 down, equalised in added time and eventually won 3-1 after extra time.

I went to the first game between Oxford City and Plymouth Parkway.

Oxford equalised in the 90th minute to send it to a replay. Really good game with lots of chances although Oxford were very lucky not to have a player sent off for kicking a player whilst on the ground which both the referee and linesman saw resulting somehow with just a yellow

Heartbreaking for Parkway but joy for Oxford, guess that's the magic of the FA cup.

As Dover was too far for me, I went to see Maidenhead v Eastbourne Borough as the latter are from our league. Was disappointed with Eastbourne, I thought they'd give it more of a go in the Cup Tie sense. They rarely troubled Maidenhead's defence, loads of nice football in the approach, but no cutting edge. 750ish in attendance {looked more), not huge numbers for the away support, but reasonable, 70-100 I suppose. The home side didn't have to extend themselves beyond keeping shape and using their greater physicality. The first goal came out of the blue as neither had looked like scoring at that point and the second shortly after the restart effectively finished the game. Consolation goal for Eastbourne in injury time.

The Hoppy Place opposite the ground was lamenting that because it was a cup game, the season ticket holders wouldn't turn up (they didn't). Same for most clubs seemingly, which I personally find odd.

Tickets for our Bed & Breakfast Derby are on sale at £10 & £5, surely the season ticket holders can afford that?!

'Nice football in the approach, but no cutting edge'

Where have I heard that before 😏

Unfortunately with the cost of living going through the roof some supporters are having to prioritize the league over cup games.
