Currently 5 places beneath us in the league but have played 1 game less So far early days theyve been very poor away with just 1 point from 4 games and good at home where they are unbeaten so far with 10 points

Most eyewitness reports of the Braintree game say we were unlucky not to take the 3 points and are overdue a game where lady luck turns up in Slough colours Im expecting at least a point and hoping for 3.

They’re 1 place above us and on the same points. They’ve won 4 and drawn 1 of their 5 home league games and have conceded just 9 goals in total. As they’re one of our bogey teams I’m expecting no more than a draw.

Thanks for that speedy correction Glen I always use q site that shows the home and away info separately  Thought it was odd at the time that 4 teams were on 8 but always been up to date I'll  look at at least 2 sites in future Just highlights the gulf between their home/away  performances so far All good runs have to be ended by someone!

Excellent 3 points With both records so far always looked like a 0-0  or a win for the first scorer   Our 17 points puts us ninth just behind Braintree who also won 1-0 tonight but more importantly just one point out of the playoff group!

4 of the seven playoff group didnt win tonight and 3 are on 18 points just 1 more than us !

We’re a good solid team, steadily getting stronger and stronger… To go away from home twice in the space of a few days and pick up 4 points is excellent!

Thought it was a very "professional" all round performance last night against a team that won't lose too many at home as has been proven so far.

The highlights for me was the defence and goalkeeper, Togwell and Kuhl in Central Midfield and coming away with the 3 points.

Shame about Ben's injury, just hope it's not too serious as he has looked a different player this season so hopefully it won't set him back too far. Only other slight negative was the quality of our freekicks and corners. We had at least 7-8 freekicks in dangerous positions and a few corners that really weren't delivered well at all.

Thought the ref was pretty poor throughout the evening, but I guess that was for both sides so at least he was consistent!!!

Hopefully the 10 days rest will help the boys get over any knocks etc and looking ahead to October and the opposition we have, I think its an excellent chance to have a very positive month.

Yes SloughFlyer imo in the last few weeks some very talented individuals have become a coherent team playing for and understanding each other Our next 3 league games are against HH 16th Farnboro 21st and Weymouth 24th  I expect us to be  well in the playoffs when these games have been played

Would not even bother watching the highlights, have to be the poorest I have seen in a long time, literally missed off any shot that we had, including the chance for Lenchy which was saved by the keeper, however showed a highlight of a cross that went straight to the keeper.

Yeah but Neil, at least they spent 30 seconds at the end on our celebration of the goal........ with a massive post in the middle of the screen??
