Dover are out also so maybe our blank Saturday on 1st October could be utilised to reschedule our away fixture with them.

I was thinking exactly the same thing. It was only rescheduled for the !st of November a few days ago wasn't it ?

Surely a  Saturday afternoon would suit both teams much more than a Tuesday evening, although I admit I have no idea how easy or difficult it would be to reschedule it again.

Presumably no harder than asking consent from both teams plus both teams could play without lights on 1 Oct  1 Nov after the clocks change  involves the expense of lights

Good idea to try and rearrange it but I'm sure Dover would rather us go there on a Tuesday evening than a Saturday.

Why wouldn’t they? Its not like we’re close fierce rivals or promotion contenders! It’s in their interests to play Saturday as they’d get a bigger crowd than on a Tuesday just as we would. No reason why the league shouldn’t agree if both clubs can? After all we did originally agree to Dover’s original request.

I get the bit about the crowd but working and then travelling two and a half hours can be an advantage to the home team.

Concord manager Chris Search distraught in his post match interview after losing to Berkhamsted.

'Players will be told to leave the club this week'

That's 5 defeats on the bounce for Concord.
