Welcome back y’all. Happy New Year.  Still in the Cup :)

The REAL season starts on Saturday and fixtures are further down.  A big welcome to Mojo4687 who has been rewarded with a tough opening match against sleeping giant Lord Upminster.  

The Hatted Urchin has not confirmed so we are currently running with 23 + Dummy Team, who I have renamed the Hatted Dummies in his memory. @The Hatted Urchin - just say if you want to take them over: I’ll reserve them for you for this week and next, then they will go on “general sale” to any new wannabe managers.

Normal "1-1" Dummy Team rules will apply for now (see rules pasted on next post).

To confirm movements, promoted team managers were:

Adrian “the yoyo” 83
UrchinYid
Mysterious Nick, and
Fat Tommy D (fluked it in the playoffs)

Down went:
MikeMike
Mick The Bat (clearly a bad year for Michaels)
Cuppa Tea, and
Dinamo Urchin (though not quite sure why he was in Div 1 in the first place).

Enough rambling.  Here we go...

ALL.

I'm sure it won't be a surprise that we need to cancel this week as only the Leipzig game is on.   Circumstances beyond our control and all that.  We will now start on 17th September instead and reduce the season to 13 weeks.  

It's not definite that UK games will go ahead on 17 Sep - if this becomes clear by say Monday I will include UK games - if not we will probably do 4 foreign games plus Maldon v Chins.  Either way I'll wait until Monday night before posting the prediction fixtures.  If anyone has other ideas let me know.

Meanwhile - a moment to reflect upon Her Majesty Queen ELizabeth II.   Fabulous lady.
