Doesn’t tell me anything, part of the modern game having a squad that is capable of playing multiple positions, just like yesterday…

Explain why Edon was a major player then please, are you sure you are not delusional? Not picking on one performance at all, just you yet again picking on words rather than taking a holistical view. Every time I’ve watched Edon I’ve said or felt his timing is well off for a CB, multiple games his timing was off as well as his positioning.

You are very much a glass half empty type of person RR, to be honest, nothing that our club does will ever be quite good enough for someone like you.

I will always remember Edon Pruti for this moment in the 2-1 victory at Arbour Park against the 2021/2 champions Maidstone United :-

"Then after a series of half chances for the Rebels, they found a breakthrough as Edon Pruti scored his first goal for the club from a corner. An excellent delivery from Kurtis Cumberbatch found Pruti at the back post and he bulleted a header in."

Tells you everything CR, if you can't see it that's your problem.

Again if you can't or don't want to acknowledge that Edon was a major part of our squad just ask our managers or perhaps Brentford who have coaches who are far more qualified to spot talent than you or me.

If you're not picking on the one performance against Havent why single it out?

As far as glass half empty, I tell it as I see it with plenty of praise when deserved rather than ignoring the facts and playing to the gallery.

Why don’t you ask the managers if they are looking for a replacement?

If you listen to Jon’s interview he does allude to the possibility of a ‘change’ defensively and something himself and Bakes will discuss this week. Of course it doesn’t mean a new signing will happen.

George was outstanding yesterday but we won't get away with that very often short on defenders and a striker Ben Harris could hardly walk after the game

May not have been the best game overall for many and frustration shown by both benches in flight and post match., H&R coaching staff had a big inquest after the game in their dugout with all involved.  McCann seemed really down after and as per his post match said he felt let down by the players!

I think the Slough squad is still capable of a play off place.

I also believe many clubs in the league would love additional players but with the economics we find ourselves in even running floodlights could cause a problem for some in the future, budgets are a complete disaster for a lot of clubs unless they are spending like they don't care or have that sugar daddy at the realm.  My ethos would be do not spend what you haven't got.

Ref the back 4 yesterday make shift maybe but all capable of playing those rolls imo.

Ref Edon I have said this before Dandy is the better younger CB imo, that said a loss for the team.

I found it amusing that after 90+3 minutes Neil Baker shouted across to the referee, "Ref. It's time. Blow your whistle" and the referee immediately blew his whistle for full time.

Brentford obviously saw potential, that does not mean he was a major player for us at all…

I could sum this up quite easily if he was HOT property he would have been purchased with a fee up front as a starter.

Absolutely and as I said before I hope it works out for him, it's a horrible industry football.  You have to be a prime piece of meat to reach the giddy heights.

Imagine going to work knowing every day your gaffer/club is always looking for someone better and in some cases that's your main income.  Don't get me wrong those at the top of the food chain get well looked after and will be financially sound.  But even then they live a very robotic life while under the control of a club.  This even happens in the youth academies they are all looking for that prime piece of meat!

I would 100% not place one of my own kids in an pro academy for a number of reasons if I could turn back the clock.
