No doubt Karen is waiting with bated breath for the reIease of the Oxfordshire FA Senior Cup First Round draw on Wednesday in order to re-arrange ArdIey United's SSML Premier Division fixture which will clash with the First Round of the competition. This is IikeIy to be on Saturday 29 October when ArdIey United are due to travel to Cotlandswick to take on London CoIney:

It has been like waiting for Christmas hasn't it, the draw for the Oxfordshire FA Senior Cup First Round will be released around noon today (31 August). We (the SSML) will have no representation in the Oxfordshire FA Intermediate Cup:

Karen - I think you were down on your knees this morning praying for a home tie weren't you, last season ArdIey United were drawn away to CharIton United in the First Round and that was played on a Saturday.

There was no praying involved, Ardley United were never going to be playing in a Saturday as the competition has new rules

Fixtures involving NLS teams will be played mid-week under floodlights. If the first drawn club doesn’t have lights then the fixture will be switched to the ground of their opponents who have lights
