Listened to Spencer Day's post match interview after their 1-0 loss to Bath and he used words like big, strong and physical about Bath.

Just the sort of team we like playing against ?

Also listened to Bath manager Jerry Gills post match interview and he was purring and eulogizing about the quality of his side this season.

We'll have to be at our best to get something from the game.

This really is a freak result imho! Bath are nothing special but efficient and will win a lot of games based on this.

Does not help when the ref gives a very soft pen in first minute which I am confident was not a penalty.

They had a lot of luck in their box defending, at the start of the second half whilst 2-1 down we could easily have been 4-2 up.

Up the other end they took their chances well, but I do not recall JN having to make a lot of saves.

Again we created a lot of opportunities and some day soon we are going to have a heavy scoreline in our favour.

We also looked good in possession with a mix of playing through thirds and longer balls.

What sort of 'luck in their box defending' are we talking about Footyfan?

A few blocks where made that where very fortunate (but in the right place for it to hit some part of their body even if they didn't know about it).

The keeper made a right mess of a ball just being knocked back in the box which ended up hitting the post.

So in general and apart the odd bit of luck by the keeper they defended superbly putting their bodies on the line to keep the ball out of the net?
