The tie this afternoon has been switched to Corby Stewart & Lloyds and to the Lodge Park Sports Centre in Shetland Way, Corby which is 3g and not the regular ground for the Northamptonshire Combination League Premier Division Club. Kick off is at 1.30pm, not 2.00pm:

Following Rushden & Higham United's 2-0 win over Corby Stewart & Lloyds in their delayed Third Round tie last month they travelled to Moulton FC this afternoon however met their match in no uncertain terms. Moulton FC join Blisworth, Kettering Nomads and Irchester United  in the Semi Finals of the competition:

Moulton FC will entertain Northamptonshire Combination League Premier Division, and former SSML, Irchester United in the Semi Final of the Northamptonshire FA Les Underwood Junior Cup on Saturday 4 March, kick off 3.00pm. The other Semi Final is between Blisworth and Kettering Nomads, both from the Northamptonshire Combination League Premier Division:

An interesting development, Rushden & Higham United have been reinstated in the Northamptonshire FA Les Underwood Junior Cup, presumably due to a misdemeanour committed by their Quarter Final opponents Moulton FC. Watch this space for further details:

We have been informed by the Chairman of the County Cups that we have been re-instated into the Les Underwood Junior Cup and will play Irchester United at the Semi Final stage at Hayden Road on a date tbc.

You have to sympathise with Rushden & Higham United don't you with the Northamptonshire County FA now ruling in Moulton FC's favour and they progress to the Semi Final of the Northamptonshire FA Les Underwood Junior Cup afterall:

A further statement from clearly 'vexed' Rushden & Higham United Chairman Ade Mann, you can't blame the Club can you for feeling aggrieved by their treatment from the Northamptonshire County FA:

Just to rub sea salt into Rushden & Higham United's wounds the Northamptonshire FA hastily arranged the Moulton FC v Irchester United Semi Final tie for today (Saturday 25 March), kick off 2.00, apologies for the late notification which also appears to have caught Full Time unawares as it is still showing Moulton FC's home League fixture with Langford. Good luck to Moulton FC this afternoon with Northamptonshire Combination League Premier Division Blisworth FC awaiting the winners in the final.

Again, just to rub Dead Sea salt into Rushden & Higham United's gaping wounds, Moulton FC reached the prestigious Final of the Northamptonshire FA Les Underwood Junior Cup by defeating Northamptonshire Combination League Premier Division, and former SSML outfit, Irchester United 3-2 at Brunting Road on Saturday, see match photographs courtesy of photographer Richard Eason. Northamptonshire Combination League Premier Division Blisworth FC await Moulton FC in the Final of the competition, date and venue yet to be decided:

The Final of the Northamptonshire FA Les Underwood Junior Cup, between Moulton FC and Northamptonshire Combination League Premier Division Blisworth FC, will take place at Northampton Sileby Rangers Fernie Fields on Tuesday 16 May, kick off 7.45pm. Blisworth FC lifted the Cup last season, beating Kettering Nomads 3-2 in a Final played at the salubrious Sixfields Stadium (see the match programme) which I assume is unfortunately unavailable this time:
