Well after retrieving my car from the ditch I left it in last night, I eventually got back on the road with the help of a push from some very obliging gasmen, only to drive a hundred yards down the road and perform a graceful four-wheel slide into the back of a van.

 

Fortunately there was no damage because the towing hook from last night was still in place (that's another story altogether).

 

At that point I gave up and went home - on foot.

 

Moral of this story, don't try and drive a rear-wheel drive car in snow. ABS, traction control, etc, what a load of b*llox!

JK, I had to get home in time to see some disgusting creature put his head in a tank of some rather attractive spiders, so yes, it was necessary.

i saw a 911 in all sorts of trouble trying to get up chalkwell ave in sarfend last night.. highly amusing..

911 clutch has 2 settings .. off or 350 bhp on..

I thought I'd beat the jams by getting the bus on Wednesday. Unfortunately, it didn't show up for the return trip so I had to leg it home in the snow. However, I still managed to get home an hour before anyone else.
