Thank you for the intel. So a little extra juice for getting promoted. I've always loved the cups but of course haven't had reason to be invested before some of the more recognizable tes get involved. Locally, are more people rooting for all of the Bedfordshire teams early in hopes of someone getting a shot at the big boys?

A groundhopper from another Forum was present:

Attendance 329 and 2 dogs, Admission £7, Programme £1.50, Half of lager £2.30
A local FA Cup match for me, meaning I could get there by bicycle, meaning I could have the rare indulgence (for me) of an alcoholic drink. The pitch was surprisingly green in places, although still dry with dust being kicked up throughout.
S started well with lots of energy, the second half saw G show their higher level of play. G's second goal at 92' crossed the line, and was immediately pushed out by the GK, although it was difficult to see if it was a legal goal, the lack of appeals from the home team made it apparent it was. It looked like this was the end of the match, with the many G supporters in jubilant mood. The last minute goal for S was a surprise to all, with the disbelief clear on the faces of the G players, as they realised this was going to be a replay on Wednesday evening. It was felt that the Referee may have allowed too much injury time, therefore alllowing the home side to equalise.
