RR  Can you come up with a credible reason why the number of STs sold shouldn't be released? One of Orchards four directors resigned recently but not a word said! More transparency required imo.

Interesting to hear and yes is this not important news? No statement usually leads to rumours.

Firstly regarding attendance at AP, since we’ve been the given attendance is for everybody physically there on the day, this is a figure the council requirement. Don’t know what other clubs do.

Secondly, no other club in the NLS has given out publicly their ST sales this year so why should Slough release theirs?

Finally, all of us at the club are volunteers with full time jobs, and both our media boys, Tom and Matt have just become fathers again in last 2 weeks.

Just remember this sometimes

Thanks for the heads up and the information supplied It's of course impossible for anyone to remember something they've never been  told before  I'm sure most supporters would approve of a better flow of info from the company/ people running the club.

Irish Adrian, I’m positive that I’ve cleared this up before in a previous thread as it’s never been a secret that this is how we’ve done it. Might have been couple of seasons ago though

Rebelade  If you're talking about honestly reporting the genuine attendance  you did assure us a few seasons back that we no longer included all ST holders (as a number of clubs did) I referenced that earlier in this thread

We have also been unfortunate to have Maidenhead playing at home on the same dates as our first two home games.

This must also effect our gates.

Is there also a Brentford effect?

After Saturdays results I wish I had chosen to go to Brentford instead of Slough!!! We need to choose more carefully next time…

Not sure how you can choose a game more carefully?

Why would you want to watch Brentford if you're a Slough supporter?

I think the heat has probably affected the gate on saturday for sure.... I am an example, I did not attend due to the heat - mainly because of the kids (who are 8, 5 and 2) it just didn't seem a sensible idea. As i didn't go my father in law did not go as he didn't want to travel alone etc etc and I know two others we sit with also did not attend for heat reasons.
So that's 7 off the attendance from us alone, how many others were in the same position?

I too think tonight will be higher but realistically maximum of 550 imo with it still being holiday season and a midweek.

I also think we could well be hit by the current economical situation when attracting new fans. People are having to make a choice and in reality fairweather fans won't have watching Slough that high on their priority list vs eating and paying their bills.

Credit where credit is due though to the club with the introduction of the game pass. A great idea to try and help those who may be on the fence financially. As Rebelade said, we have to remember that the club is run on volunteers. For example, with the game pass, the execution of the idea including media, design, financial viability assessments etc all takes time and effort.

That'll affect our gate by exactly zero.

It won't be many but I know one couple who come to Arbour Park when U 'As are not at home and playing some distance away from The SKYex.

If I go to the SKYex for a match when Rebels are away, I normally see five Rebels supporters at the match.
