Well considering our first game wasn't until January, I'm sure they could squeeze a few more teams in. After all, there was a 2nd round game (Chesham vs Wycombe) which took place, so why not six more teams in there and make it a bit of a fuller 2nd round?

I think that would demean the cup rather than become bigger.

I am sorry but I nearly choked on my high quality slough made tea when I read that. To be honest the cup is meaningless. It simply gives us a yearly opportunity to play Maidenhead. Thankfully we finally beat them this time and that is good enough for me.

Please try and remind me I said this when I start going mental at the ref and/or opponent centre half in the next round.

hi gary and all went to see burnham play chesham. the other bartley and t mitchol scored two good goals and fell apart to chesham scoring three goals. so it looks like chesham may haunt us again not with religation but deafeet must be avioded this time if we both get to the finol.

i here that slough crunch match is in dout against the corinthions c with the atroutuse weather coming this weekend. i saw a five day weather forcast for slough and could rain on and off until at least tuesday so the likelyhood of three games in a week being called off. this is getting very tough and fairly local so did think similer in tolworth area.

did not bother with reseves game as new would be and was off. very dangerouse for players supporters and one man and his dog. me and my girlfriend liz look forward to seeing firmiler faces at the the polish club tommrow. can someone allow my dad in for a cheep drink when picking me and liz up. as the beer of soft drinks are cheep. will someone be on the gate late on checking for pick ups ect ext.

ps number 1 bus to burnham tempermentle but will it remain a ten minute service. and will the trainers train there drivers to look out for passengers especialy slough rail station were roumers has it that im not the only one left waiting at bus stops when signaling. and how long will it take to get from slough to burnham via stoke road elliman ave and trading estate to burnham take not 17 minutes the same driver is proberbly cutting bits of the route out to his advantage. now buses are going missing at turning round spots farnham road, doddsfield road, bestobel road and langley area. this to add buses going into priory and back via a4 not through garibaldi burnham.

nice to post you all to post you nice.

Sorry buddy, didn't mean to endanger your life. I don't disagree with you, the Berks and Bucks is pretty meaningless, but I hold it in more esteem than the Bryco or FA Trophy as it is our only realistic chance of silverware and is nice to have yearly fixtures against local opposition, even though it is fixed we play Maidenhead year in year out. It also means there is something to look forward to after Christmas when other cup involvement is over and the league is getting depressing.

My previous comment should be viewed with this in mind. If we were to play against teams like Buckingham Town or Hungerford then it would have less meaning to me as they are not exactly local 'rivals'.

I think they should invite more teams in and the weaker teams play off in the earlier rounds (Like the FA Cup really), then the bigger teams come in at the 4th round stage.

Definitely needs to be more involved with local sides and regardless of who enters, we know it will be Maidenhead away each year.

This is very enlightening, guys.

Up until this thread, I thought that reaching the quarter-finals of the B&B cup was actually an achievement...

...I didn't realise there were only eight teams playing!!!

Could you please explain how/why Slough always play their first match against Maidenhead at York Road?
