Looking forward to see how we perform against another side from the NL who have made some decent signings during the summer break.

........And what was your opinion on the game, and how the Rebels shaped up,RR ?

Firstly I was impressed with Aldershot, Mark Molesley looks to be putting a good squad together and deserved their 3-0 win.

Although we went in at half time only 1-0 down courtesy of an own goal our passing and ball retention were not as good as it should have been for the hot conditions.

Having said that Aldershot are a full time team and I think it showed in their fitness levels and the way they were able to continually put us under pressure.

Very few if any chances to score came our way with the Aldershot keeper having a fairly comfortable afternoon.

Player injuries and unavailability and only being able to make 4 subs didn't help our cause but I suppose an inevitable part of pre season.
