I'm sure we all would like to thank Ade for his many years of excellent commentaries  No point in talking about a replacement  simply irreplacable!

Seeing as you have the same name I nominate you! But yes well done Ade on many great commentaries and a few laughs too!

Very sad to see Ade leave and would like to thank him for his efforts - wind, rain or shine. He has been so vital in keeping a lot of Rebels around the globe in touch with the club we love in his inimitable style.

I know he is a hard act to follow, but I would hope the position is filled in some capacity.

I'm told the intention is to try to put together a small panel  so that no one person  has to give up so much time as Ade did  such a hard act to follow!

And radio commentary is not the only thing he did for the club. We will still see him around in other guises such as Matchday Operations Manager and barman.

He didn't include the double over last season's champions Maidstone United in his standout games!!!

Clutching at straws maybe but if the intention is to put together a small team of commentators then why can't Ade be one of them ? He may have been asked  but would he reconsider? From everything to nothing is a huge loss for all of us imo.

Thanks for all your kind words everyone.

Yes we will be trying to get a small team of commentators as it’s a lot of work, normally I’d do 2-3 hours of prep, yes I did prep notes before you ask, for each game. I’ll still be at every game and as for being asked , there’s only me so I would have asked myself ?

It needs someone with new ideas to take it forward
