Lee Togwell, Matt Lench and George Hunt

Recommended Posts

Another 3 names announced and for me personally 2 of the 3 are excellent retained players.

Lee Togwell brings excellent experience and of course the coaching aspect as well. Been there and done it.

George Hunt I thought had a good season (not great) last year and certainly the experience he will have learnt from that season will have helped massively.

Matt Lench as I said in my thoughts preciously, he would have been one that I would have moved on due to fitness and performance last season, but I know I'm in the minority on this one and of nothing else he brings good experience to help the younger squad members.

3 more solid retentions.

I'm pleased with all the players named that are coming back so far. If we can get Matt Lench back to full fitness,he would be one of my first players on the team sheet.

On the last three mentioned, I noted they we all classed as midfielders, so in Lee Togs case it could mean he will be drafted back into midfield on occasion, if Aaron Kuhl leaves our club?

Matt Lench will become our new Ben Harris in that he is capable of drawing fouls in dangerous areas when he gets forward. Some evidence of this in the last home game against Hemel when he got involved with their big right back.
