Ex Players - Where Are They Now?

I was looking at the Woking forum the other day and noticed they have a thread about their ex players, so I thought it would be a good subject for our forum.

It might be a bit daft putting the post up now, when the season is over but on the other hand, as fans won't have many football games to talk about through the summer, it might be worthwhile seeing where ex Rebel players have landed up/or signed for.

To start the ball rolling I noticed in the Non League Paper this week that Michael Alexis is now assistant manager at North Leigh. Also Chris Flood played for Hungerford in their 1-1 draw with Dorking. Ben Sturgees plays for Mark West's Thame United.

Ryan Hope and Lewis Putman both played for Southall last week in their cup final v Walton and Hersham. Hope captained the team and Putman came on at half time in the 2-1 loss.

You have the obvious Binfield connection of Jamie McClurg, George Short and Nathan Webb.

Beaconsfield have Callum Webb in their ranks.

The much put upon Staines had Matty Bonnet in goal for a couple of the games there we saw this season.

Thats all I can think of for now.

Luke Williams plays in goal for Hartley Wintney fc. George Wells is still in the Maidenhead team. Danny Murphy played for Aylesbury Vale fc under Steve Bateman in mid season for a month or so but then got injured and hasn't been seen since.

Ben Sturgess finished the season playing for Risborough Rangers along with ex rebels Gavin James and Liam Enver-Marum.

Noticed that a 36 year old player called Dan Cann[a forward] signed for Hamworthy United the other week. Sure he played for Slough a good few seasons ago.

Just seen Leon Chambers- Parillion, a Rebels loanee from last season has signed for Hitchin Town.

I noticed Brad Wadkins scored in Kings Langley's 0-1 win in their FA Trophy match against Carshalton away, and that Kurtis Cumberbatch was playing for Carshalton.

Difficult to find how old Brad Wadkins is but starting his playing career at Chesham in 2011/12 probably makes him around the 30 mark.

Not sure if his whole career has been blighted by injury but looking at his scoring stats he has never been a prolific goal scorer (probably more of a workhorse/goal provider) with his best games to goals ratio being at Slough scoring 10 goals in 22 games and only 3 times in his career reaching double figures with the maximum being 13 when playing for Aylesbury.
