Maidstone U became champions today Congratulations to them.

Dorking's last game is against Welling with nothing to play for. Will Dorking be Welling's saviours?

Dorking Wanderers two remaining games are Dulwich Hamlet (H) and Hungerford Town (A).

Welling United's last two games are Maidstone United (H) and Concord Rangers (A).

Congratulations to Maidstone United being champions.

When following and watching a team regularly through a season, a fan can get to know just how good their team is. As a one off game watching Slough play Maidstone at home I wondered what all the fuss was about, in regards to Maidstone, as I wasn't at all impressed with their antics and how they played that day.Slough played well in the game and more than matched them. Just goes to show even the best teams have off days. They've obviously been a lot better in their other matches,as no team wins the title if they don't have something about them.

Eight straight wins since the defeat at Slough Towon 12th March and 3,774 at James Whatman Way yesterday saw them miss a penalty when 3-1 up against Chelmsford City.

It's certainly a funny old game when we can beat most of the top seven teams including champions Maidstone twice, Dorking and Ebbsfleet but still not make the play-offs.

It's all about consistency, squad depth over the course of a season and of course the money to change things and bring in quality players when needed.
