It's a shame we will be twiddling our thumbs this evening (Wednesday) with no fixtures but at least we have a mouthwatering Division One Cup Semi Final to look forward to at the New Roker Park tomorrow:

Amersham Town are hosting a Charity fixture this evening (Thursday) at SpratIeys Meadow, kick off 7.30pm:

FOOTY FUNDRAISER: Amersham Town Football Charity game for Ukrainian refugees - My Local News (mynewsmag.co.uk)

Just a reminder that we are hosting a vets game at Spratleys Meadow tomorrow night, in aid of the Ukrainian refugees, KO 7.30pm £5 entry. There will be a burger van on site and the bar will be open! Hope you can make it and support this worthwhile cause.

Eynesbury United's version of events:

Eynesbury United (2) 5 Codicote FC (1) 1 (Spavins, Baxter, Fox, Piesse, Dixon)
United kept their hopes up of finishing in the promotion places with a hard working win over Codicote.
It has got to the stage were United could not afford to drop any points and they put in a good display to get three vital points.
United now need to win Saturday at home to Bovingdon to ensure they finish in the required places.
After last weeks 2-2 draw at Codicote, United knew what a tough night it would be but they got off to the best possible start. Spavins and Baxter scored to put United two up however Codicote came back into the game prior to half time.
In the second half Shane Fox scored to ease the nerves and when Piesse scored a fourth United were on their way. Owen Dixon scored his obligatory goal to make it 5-1 and give United a huge win.
So onto Saturday and a huge afternoon at Hall Road, three points will see us in with a chance of promotion once the FA make their minds up in May, kick off is 3:00pm, and as a big thanks to everyone who has supported us this season admission for this game is free, see you all then.
