We did! He didn't give a conventional contested drop ball, it was to Arlesey, a mad decision. You can see the incident on Jets TV at 8.53, and if you look you can clearly see the Arlesey 8 push Sean Giordmaina so it should have been our free kick

Thanks, idk that, seems a shame actually. In any event that was never a drop ball to Arlesey, and them trying to launch an attack from it added insult to injury, they should have played the ball to us uncontested. As it was their effort was quickly snuffed out, but had they scored from it I would have been livid.

We were outdone on the day by an excellent New Salamis team, who played the conditions much better than us. The team had contested a very physical match all the way to pens only 2 days earlier against an equally strong opposition in Risborough Rangers, and you could sense that we were badly affected by that.
