Apparently, there's Charlton Ladies v Fulham Ladies at Stonebridge Road today, ko 2.00pm. What better way is there to spend a sunny Sunday afternoon than watching 22 wholesome London lasses kicking lumps out of each other?! It's got to be better than watching Spurs on Sky!! Mind you, anything's better than watching Spurs, full-stop! .......unless they're losing!

There was a report of the game in the Guardian yesterday (2-1 to Charlton, by the way), which, when discussing Stonebridge Road, referred to how 'chipped paint showered down every time the ball landed on the stadium roof'.

 

You're telling us!

 

P.S. No mention of the hole in the roof sadly.
