Not a bad turnout again this morning - the sweet 16! or should that be the sweaty 16?

 

I am wondering if we can claim off the Council for cleaning up the grounds around the 'super stadium'? I have never seen so many bricks and hard core! At this rate, we will be able to build a new car park - now that would be some feat!

 

Wednesday working party starts at 10.00am again this week.

 

Do not forget the ETFC quiz night on Friday.

Good turnout yesterday to witness the digging of two more areas of the ground. One was so deep that Medders almost disappeared! P45 in the post for the bloke(Me) who thought the other was deep enough!

 

Concreting starts on Wednesday.

 

Just a reminder that working parties will begin on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays from next Monday 1 March 2004. There is still a lot of work to do so any help would be grateful.

 

10.00am start with an approximate finish of 1.00pm each day.

The chainsaw was more scarey than the pick-axe. Everybody stayed well away when I had the chainsaw! I'd like to have put more distance between me and the chainsaw as it ripped my jeans and I thought it was going to go through my leg!

What a cheek! Roy spoke to me about the 'depth people go to' to obtain good results and threatened to make me clear up the rubbish from the whole site.

 

I stood well away from you and your pick axe because I did not have an accident report form available!

Hey things are looking up with 7 hardy souls making up the team this morning(Wednesday). We were able to complete the concreting of the area opposite the refreshment hut so that supporters do not have to get muddy boots when ordering their refreshments, and a smaller area adjacent to the players walk through at pitch side.

 

Don't get excited there is still plenty to do on Sunday.

 

Don't forget that work parties start on Mondays and Fridays from next week as well as Wednesdays and Sundays.

 

Well done to the 'magnificent 7'
